Will Chalker (b. 7 March 1980 ) is a supermodel and an amateur boxer. He was born in East Sussex, England and began modelling at the age of 20 in 2000. While he was a construction worker, thanks to a friend who took some test shots of him and took them to some model agencies,Chalker had a career changing opportunity.
Since then, he has appeared in major designer campaigns including YSL, Perry Ellis, and Paul Smith. His runway tasks include that of opening and closing for Gucci, John Galliano’s finishing tableau, Athena-poster look for D&G, and walking along Sonia Rykiel during her show.
Chalker has been modelling on the men’s catwalks for nine seasons and modelling full time since early 2003. He was crowned by the media as ”the first male supermodel” and a web group delicated to him has over 900 members.
Despite Chalker’s growing popularity in fashion today, there has been no public buzz about him. He remains down to earth and is known for his punctuality and professionalism.
